OUR PROCESS
-
The group discussed the assignment using Zoom, text messaging, and email. Roles were assigned as described in the group plan. Group members emailed ideas and information for various programs. We decided a farm-to-table program would be an excellent experiential learning opportunity.
-
Once the topic was collaboratively approved, we decided upon details of the program, such as the length and activities to include. We began to research practical cases and programs that were already being implemented, and drew features and ideas that the group liked the best and combined these with ideas from our literature review.
-
The project leader came up with a day-by-day itinerary. It was reviewed by all members, and once we had a good idea of our timeframe and features of our program we incorporated those features and ideas from literature into the final draft of the program design.
-
We continued to review everything as a group, and used texting and email to let members of the group know when something new was added or an edit was made. This helped keep everyone on track and meet all our established deadlines.
-
We made small adjustments and fine-tuned the program design and finalized our paper for the blog. Each member completed all assigned tasks and requested feedback as we went through the process.
